The Sixth Integrated Household Survey (IHS6) is the latest in a series of Integrated Household Surveys implemented by the National Statistical Office (NSO). NSO conducts these surveys with financial and technical support from the Malawi Government and the World Bank. 

The primary objective of this survey is to collect comprehensive data and produce updated information on the welfare and socio-economic conditions of Malawi’s population. Results are made available at various levels, including national, urban-rural, regional, district and are further disaggregated by sex.
